2021 Trout Tournament Is On!
The Upper Pine Creek Trout Tournament will be held May 15 &16 2021. As most of you know we had to cancel this tournament last year due to Covid 19 concerns. This year the event will resume with minor changes to include all operations at clubhouse/check station to be outside, masking required on property and social distancing.
For those not familiar, this tournament has been going on annually for roughly 30 years. We float stock tagged trout in the Pine Creek from Galeton to Ansonia. When you catch a tagged trout, you bring the fish to the check station in live condition. You draw a numbered ball from a bin and the number on the ball matches up with a prize on our prize board. The minimum prize is $50 value, we have a grand prize of $1000! In 2019, we had over 500 participants! If you fished in 2019, legibly completed your application, and didnt move, you will receive an application in the mail in the next few weeks. Also, keep an eye on Facebook for updates and the website for an application (Once they are printed) which again will be in a few weeks.
